PRIVATE PREGNANCY, BIRTH & LOSS SUPPORT
As a mother and birth doula, I believe that all women should feel supported and held during their pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood journey. Without support and guidance, it can be a time of great isolation and vulnerability as we learn to mother and learn to adapt to our shifting identity all while taking care of a child. I am here to hold space for you, educate you and support you as you navigate this time. Together we will reframe fears and beliefs, meet challenges, and navigate the system so you are empowered, educated and have a positive birth and postpartum experience.
I'm Pregnant, Now What?
Newly pregnant and no idea where to begin? This session aims to demystify your birth options and provide you with resources to support you now and throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. We'll cover birth place options (home, hospital, public, private); choosing your birth team/hiring a doula; books to read; classes to book; health practitioners to nurture your mind and body; postpartum prep and more. Partners welcome and encouraged to attend.
PRIVATE BIRTH EDUCATION
In this three hour private session, we will cover labour and birth education and also talk about how to set yourself up for a healthy and restful postpartum. We’ll explore your birth wishes and fill your birth toolkit with resources, information and education so you feel prepared, confident and empowered. We will cover physiology of birth, stages of labour, coping techniques, pain management options, partner/doula support, interventions and induction, cesarean birth, postpartum life and more. Partners welcome and encouraged to attend.
PRIVATE POSTPARTUM EDUCATION
In this two hour private session, we will cover postpartum life in depth and work together to make a plan for your postpartum. You’ll learn all about the sacred window that is the first forty days postpartum and why rest in this period is critical to the longterm health of you, your baby and your family. We'll cover your physical and emotional recovery, nourishment during the fourth trimester and the importance of having people hold emotional space for you to share your birth story and feelings of early motherhood. Partners welcome and encouraged to attend.
The birth of a child transforms us on every level of our being. In this private debriefing session, I will hold space for you to share and process your birth story and birth experience in a safe, supportive and confidential space. You are welcome to come alone or bring your partner. Birth debriefing can be helpful at any time, whether you are in your early days postpartum, preparing for another baby or have grown children but have never been given the opportunity to share your stories out loud.

pregnancy loss support
This session is for women who have experienced pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth or abortion. The sessions look different for every woman depending on her needs. Gabrielle holds the space for her clients to share their thoughts, feelings, fears and emotions surrounding their loss. She works with her clients to determine their needs and plans a path forward with resources to support physical and emotional healing. It is important to know that these sessions do not replace clinical therapy.
