A termination has the potential to be one of the most powerful rites of passage one can experience, taking us into the depths of our values, beliefs, boundaries, shadows and trauma—and above all our relationships: with others, ourselves and our bodies.
This workshop is an honouring of the loss of the child and the mother we would have become. We will gather together and we will weave. Weave our stories of the dreams we had for our children born and unborn, our dreams around motherhood or even our dreams on how we wish to mother ourselves.
We will weave these dreams into a wreath we can keep as a reminder that our dreams, our children and our innocence are never lost. That they live on in our hearts, in the stars and are just a dreamtime away.
This event is open to anyone who has experienced planned or medical abortion or miscarriage.
